Q. Since starting invisalign I have a had the usual symptom of a lot of saliva building up and speech being shall we say impaired. But now, there is also a problem with my lips being really dry. I can’t see why this would be thoguht but it is a problem I have not had before starting invisalign. All I can do at the moment is use lip balm. Why would this be happening?
A. If you find that you are mouthbreathing then your lips may get more dry. Try to make a conscious effort to breathe through your nose. The current weather may not be helping either.
