Q. hello, i\’ve been told i need to have added elastics with my treatment because some of my upper teeth protrude greatly. I\’m a bit worried if they\’ll be painful? that don\’t sound very comfortable, will they be very painful? :(,
A. Don\’t worry about using elastics. You will soon get used to wearing them. As you are aware, some discomfort is to be expected, but you should not be in too much pain. Please note that the degree of pain is very subjective and will depend on how good you are with getting used to them.
