Q. I am on my third tray now and am drinking loads of water and using lip balm for my lips but I am gertting a really dry mouth and lips. Is this something I will have throughout the treatment or should I expect it to go back to normal eventually? I have also noticed that my breath is a bit more stinky than normal which is a problem I have not had before – will this last? Any comments or advice would be appreciated.,
A. Hello,In the initial period some patient might experience dry mouth. Usually it gets better. If you brush your teeth properly after each meal you should not have to experience any problem regaring your breath. You could use mouthwash if you like.
