Will my smoking affect the invisalign treatment?

Q. i smoke and want invisalign and idoubt i could give up smoking because i\’ve been doing it all my life. will smoking affect the invisalign treatment? thank you,

A. If you leave the aligner in your mouth when you are smoking, you are very likely to stain the aligners and your teeth! It would be better to remove the aligners everytime you decide to smoke although depending the number of times you smoke, you may find this tedious!
