Q. I went to my normal dentist for a routine check up and he told me that two of my teeth are going to need fillings and he even told me that this may effect how my aligners fit. Do you have any experience with this and if so could you tell me if this is the case. This has got me worrying that I have ruined my treatment.,
A. It is true it may affect the fit of your aligners. If the dentist keeps to the original shape of the teeth as much as possible it should not be a problem. However if the fillings are not urgent and can wait until completion of your invisalign the better.
