Q. I have come to the decision that I would love to get Invisalign, but the problem I forsee is that I am going to be moving a broad at the end of the year. The thing is though I would still love to start the treatment beforehand but can you tell me if this is possible? Have any of your patients had experience with this?,
A. I always recommend my patients to try and finish their orthodontic treatment with me before going abroad for a long period of time. This is because it is difficult to find a dentist who will take on another dentist\’s orthodontic treatment just because every dentist works in a slightly different way. In some cases your own UK dentist may be able to forward the details to the dentist abroad so that the he can take on from there, but you would have to find a dentist abroad who will take on your treament.

I am starting my Invisalign treatment in January. Im going to be moving to Italy in the summer. I was wondering how far apart the appointments get after the 6month stage? Im thinking of staying with my orthodontist and coming back for my appointments.
