I have been told I am borderline for Invisalign. Should I get a second opinion?

I’m confused as i have overcrowding and potentially 3 teeth needing to be extracted. My teeth are generally straight so i thought i would be suitable. Would I be able to discontinue my Invisalign treatment as the aligners are straining my lips?
