I don’t want jaw surgery, though I was recommended it. Could Invisalign work?

Q.
I want for an Invisalign consultation because I would like to straigten my teeth (which aren’t particularly bad). The dentist said that I had a problem with my bite which only jaw surgery could solve. I DEFINITELY do not want to get jaw surgery. Could I go ahead with the Invisalign regardless or should I get a second opinion?
A.
Unfortunately I cannot comment without a full clinical examination. There are a few cases where orthodontics alone will not correct the problem. If you are unsure about what to do, you could always go for a second opinion
