Q. Disaster! I was playing football on sunday and had taken my aligner out for the game as I hate wearing it when playing, but I managed to get the tooth close to the front of my mouth knocked out. What can I do? I am halfway through my treatment now as well so this is sods law. I ahve an appointment with my ortho on wednesday. Any help?
A.
If this has happened and the entire tooth has been knocked out, it is best to see the dentist within the hour!
If part of the tooth has chipped away then it could be repaired.
Either way the Invisalign aligners can help act as a stent or template.
