Q. I\’ve been told by my orthodontist the main advantages of invisalign but he never mentioned the disadvantages to me. I\’m a bit concerned about this as I want to know everything about the braces before I proceed. Can you please tell me what problems could arise from using the braces? Thank you.,
A. All braces have disadvantages, such as teeth not moving/rotating etc. Invisalign will not work in severe crowding in inexperienced hands. I have had very little in the way of problems with using Invisalign. There is always problems with ortho, but with Invisalign you have less pain, hygiene problems and visibility etc. Dr R Kumar BDSLDSRCS
