Q. I am booked in for a consultation for invisalign next week but would appreciate it if you could tell me some of the factors that will decide whether I can get the treatment or not? My teeth are not too crooked but still I have heard invislaign can only treat teeth of a certain level of severity?
A.
It is very difficult to say without looking at your teeth and jaws and your bite.
It is essential that your teeth, gums and bone around your teeth are healthy prior to commencing any form of orthodontics.
There are some cases that are so complex and would require surgery to correct, and obviously invisalign alone would not treat such complex cases.
