Q. Hello, i\’m really struggling with my attachments for some reason every time i take them out they tear a little and i have to keep getting replacements, i\’m being as gentle as i can with them i don\’t understand why it\’s happening, do you know why it could be happening?,
A. unfortunately attachments can come off sometimes. In some cases, this can be due to the very tight fit of the aligner and the angulation of the teeth, sometimes this can be done to the way you bite together. Constantly biting on the attachments can eventually loosen them. I would contact your dentist if you are concerned.

Q. I just got my first aligner put in nearly two weeks ago, as well as getting some tooth shaven and attachments fitted (four in total). However, when I first took out my aligner one of the attachments fell out and then another one fell out a on the same day when I needed to take them out. After that I seemed to master getting the aligners in and out without causing problems with attachments. This friday I had those two attachments that had fallen off back on again but of couse they have both fallen out again! Is it something I am doing wrong or are the attachments just prone to falling off? Any help?
A. Hello,
It is difficult to tell but the attachments should stay on the teeth a little longer than a day. You might want to book an appointmnet with your dentist and show him how you use the aligners.
