Will grinding teeth damage invisalign aligners?

Q. Will grinding your teeth in the night cause any harm to invisalign braces. I usually wear a mouth piece but guess I will be unable to do so if I get invisalign. Will they be okay?

A. You will be changing the Invisalign aligners every 10-14 days. Towards the end of the 10-14 days the aligners may start to get weaker and start cracking but it will be time for you to put in a brand new set of aligners anyway.

It won’t make a difference with the treatment.
