Hi Dr. Thorne. When using Invisalign, my teeth discolour slightly. This happens over the two weeks that I wear the aligners, despite my cleaning them as the orthodontist recommends (with washing up liquid). Is this normal, or should I be doing something different? Thank you.

My dentist has informed me that if I want to have Invisalign aligners, I will need to get some of my teeth shaved away. I am quite scared by the prospect as I have heard that it can cause sensitive teeth and damaged teeth. It it safe? Thanks.

Hello Dr Thorne, I hope you can help me, I have a query for you. I was just wondering recently if it is okay to wear my aligners in the sauna three times a week for about 20mins to half an hour? Or will they melt? I would hate for anything to happen. Also is there any other activity that could harm or prevent my treatment from taking place successfully. Hello Dr Thorne, I really need your help and advice. I have lost my final Invisalign retainer, what can I do? I’m worried about what my orthodontist will think and say. Hi Dr Manoloustou. I dropped my top Invisalign aligner the other day and it’s now bent slightly, it seems to fit okay but not sure if i should go to my orthodontist about this? I’m not actually due to go and see her for another 3 weeks but if this slight bend is going to affect my treatment time then i’m not sure what i should do? What do you think?? should i make an appointment? She is always SO busy because she’s an amazing orthodontist so i don’t really want to trouble her if I don’t actually need to. I mean, it’s only bent I didn’t break it, thank fully I didn’t stand on it because then I would be in great trouble haha.
