Q.
Hi, I have seen 2 dentists regarding invisalign and I am interested in the treatment but have concerns about the cost. The 2 dentists I saw explained the cost factors differently and I wondered if you would be able to clear this up for me. The first I saw referred to express treatment (which is not suitable for me), intermediate and full. I thought he had said the intermediate was cheaper and would be appropriate if I needed less retainers to achieve the results desired rather than the full treatment (ie between an express and full).
However, the second dentist said this wasn’t correct and that an intermediate treatment just deals with the movement of the front six teeth and therefore, doesn’t achieve the same results as the full, which deals with all the teeth. Would you please let me know what internedite treatment means?
