My aligners don’t seem to fit properly, what should I do?

Q.
My aligners don\’t seem to fit properly, i\’m on my 8th tray on the upper mouth and i have slight buck teeth so the aligners don\’t seem to fit properly with the teeth that are next to my two front teeth. What should i do? is this normal? thanks for your help,

There is a significant difference in pain in my upper and lower jaws, why is this?

I had my first set of trays in place a few days ago and i\’ve noticed a significant difference in discomfort. the top jaw is in more pain than the lower, is this normal? i\’m worried! also it\’s much easier to take out the lower than the upper, why is this?,

What can the dentist do about the filling that has broken when i’m under-going Invisalign?

Hey, i had a filling put in before my invisalign and it was a large one, anyway the aligners were made to fit perfectly with the filling in. now the tooth with the filling in has broken and i don\’t want it to stop my invisalign treatment but i\’ll have to won\’t i? what can they do about it? thanks for your time,

Can I have invisalign after I’ve completed my ceramic brace treatment?

Q.
I\’m wearing a ceramic brace at the moment on the upper area of the mouth to bring a couple of teeth down that were too far up and made my teeth look out of proportion to the rest. After this treatment is done i would like to wear invisalign, can i do this?? i don\’t want to see these braces any longer, thanks,

Is it worth it in my case to go ahead with the invisalign treatment?

Dear Dr Solanki I am 51 years old. I have an overbite of nearly 1cm on my 2 front teeth & the next 2 on either side are slightly less. I have a crown on 2 teeth, 1 on either side a further 2 teeth in. I am extremely conscious of this when I speak & although everyone says it\’s not & they don\’t notice it, it\’s something I think about daily. I find I now don\’t always look people in the face when I talk to them as I think they\’re staring at my mouth. It does nothing for my confidence & I\’m a confident person. On a visit to my mum\’s dentist I saw a leaftlet about Invisalign and enquired about it to my mum\’s dentist. He said it looked as though my 2 front teeth needed pushing back & it would work for me. However, when I found out the price I decided not to go for the consultation. I\’m desperate to have them done though as I know Invisalign would completely change my life. Please would you let me know, from the info I have given you, if you think it\’s worth me pursuing this as I know a payment arrangement can be made. Kind regards – N
