Is Invisalign the best brace to close a front tooth gap and move my crowded teeth?

December 7th, 2011
Q.

hello Doctor Thorne,

I hope you can help. I am looking into finally getting some braces for my teeth, which have a very big gap between the front two teeth and then the rest of the top jaw (teeth I mean) are severely crowded. Obviously this doesn’t look at all attractive, so I am looking for the best treatment to close up the gap and spread out the other teeth (I guess that’s what would happen) Do you think that invisalign would be up to this job?
if so how long could you estimate it would take and how much would it cost?

thank you very much

My teeth have only just started overlapping is invisalign the one for me?

September 6th, 2011
Q.

hello  I have an issue with my two front teeth, problem is that they cross over and im worried that it is just going to progress and  get worse and worse. It doesn’t look to bad at the moment but the two teeth have definitely moved over time as ive grown. Ive been online and looked at various options and priced up ones that are potentially available to me. I liked the look of invisalign and was just wondering if it would actually be ok for me to be treated with it? secondly are you aware what would the round about cost for this be?

thank you for your time

Is it normal for one side of my aligner to be looser than the other?

September 6th, 2011
Q.

hello

could you tell me whether is it normal for one side of my aligner to be looser than the other? Im on my 3rd aligner and it hasn’t happened for the first 2, they went loose all over towards the end of each respectively, but this looseness on only one side has never happened before and is beginning to get on my nerves, i just wanted some proper feedback before I start getting unnecessarily worried about the issue and trying to fix what’s not broken thanks for any help you can give me doctor

what’s the best method to sort out my overlapped teeth?

September 6th, 2011
Q.

Hi please could you help me out I need advise on methods of ‘uncrowding’ crooked teeth. I just wanted to know what’s the best treatment for crooked front teeth? Mine have crossed over quite badly and i really want treatment to sort them out, but I would prefer if it was something more discreet like invisalign. Can you treat my condition with invisalign and if you can how long does it usually take?

thanks

How many aligners would I need to wear with Invisalign. Would I need a retainer afterwards?

May 3rd, 2011
Q.

hello Dr Patel I hope i find you well. I was hoping you could be of help as I was wondering how many of the invisalgin retainers do you usually have to wear during a normal treatment plan and what is the overall price for a normal case for me. ,my case is that I have slightly crooked front teeth and there is a problem in that some of my lower teeth are also crowded but nothing too major.
Also i’ve heard whisperings that you will also have to wear a retainer to bed every night for the rest of your life after the treatment or do my ears deceive me. is this true?

thanks for your time and hoeps you can help

I have very crowded, crooked teeth and an overbite, could Invisalign treat this?

April 27th, 2011
Q.

hi

my teeth are pretty bad, crowded, crooked and i have an overbite and so i feel i need to turn to braces. I was just going to go for metal braces but then i heard of invisalign which sound great, but i wonder how strong they are, are they only for mild smile imperfections or can they be used for someone like me who has numerous problems and teeth which are in pretty bad condition?

Thanks
