I’m suffering a relapse and my gap teeth are returning, can invisalign help fix this?

September 30th, 2011
Q.

hello i’ve had brace treatment before and although it worked well at the time my teeth have now started moving back into place, im suffereing a relapse! As a result I now have a gap between my front teeth again, which is now reappearing, its annoying and i was just wondered if invisalign was a good option in terms of treating this? Also if i can have the treatment is there any way to stop the gap appearing again afterwards?

thank you

I think my dentist giving me the run around how far’s to far?

September 22nd, 2011
Q.

im unhappy with my invisilign dentist.i gave them half of a $2000 downn payment.i was under the impression that when i went in a week or 2 later my trays were going to be ready, instead they just showed me digital images and asked for the other $1000 for the other half of the down payment.i told them i would pay that when the trays came in….so they kept calling me saying the trays were ready to be delivered and they needed the other half of the down payment,i gave it to them and set up an appointment for the next week,i got a phone call the day before the appoinmnet saying there was a problem in the factory and the trays havet even been made or hipped yet and should be here by the end of the month.so far its been a bout a 2 month process ive given them $2000 and have received nothing.am i being dramatic or should i ask for my money back and go somewhere else since i feel like im always getting the runaround?if i do ask for my money back would i get a full refund since i havent received any treatment yet?

Can invisalign sort out crossbite?

September 20th, 2011
Q.

hello Dr Thorne

I had a brace a few years back, for a crossbite. My dentist didn’t give me a retainer so now my teeth have started to drift back into their old horrible position. Is invisalign able to treat this type of problem and once I have had the treatment can i have a retainer, preferably one that is fitted to the back of the teeth? How much do you think this would cost?

thank you Dr

Can I decide how far my teeth are moved with Invisalign?

September 20th, 2011
Q.

dear Dr,
i would like to correct my teeth but not until the moment that they are totally aligned; i like my canine tooth to be a little out of their place, they look nice to me, i just want to push them back a little but not totally (lets say, to be totally on their right place they would have to be moved 4mm). in this case the movement I would like for them would be of just 2mm, so they will be still a little out, but is how i like them…. could I get a express invisaling in this case?

I never wanted ‘unsightly’ braces now i’m 63 would I qualify forclear braces?

September 15th, 2011
Q.

I am 63 years old and have quite a large overbite. I have always disliked my prominent teeth but have never had the courage to wear a brace because of them being so unsitely. Now that they have ‘invisible braces’ I am eager to know if I could potentially be a candidate for this treatment and how much treatment itself costs.
Could you help

Thanks

can my 12yr old have invisalign before he becomes self concious?

September 14th, 2011
Q.

Dr Thorne, do you think it possible for my 12 year old boy to have invisalign? I can see that he is developing some problems with his teeth, such as a large gap between his front teeth and a slightly off bite. I would really like to help him receive treatment before he becomes too self conscious, but I obviously don’t want to be potentially damage his teeth.

I would very much like to hear your opinion doctor

Can invisalign treat under bites?

September 14th, 2011
Q.

Hi, do you think that invisalign is a good treatment for, and would fix underbites? If so would i have to have both my top and bottom sorted out to bring my jaws together in the correct places respectivley or just one of the two? and if so how much, about, with this cost if I have the top and the bottom done?

thanks

An accident stopped progress on my invisalign treatment can I now continue?

September 14th, 2011
Q.

Hi, I do you know if you can you start invisalign again, as in carry on? I had to cut my treatment short due to an accident, which damaged my front teeth and had to stop the invisalign so i could get my teeth back to normal. My dentist has given me a full bill of health and says i am good to go with brace work, however i was 3 trays into my invisalign do you think i could just continue or would i have to have everything reassesed again? and would I be charged again?

thank you

My teeth have relapsed after previous brace work, can Invisalign move them back into place?

September 7th, 2011
Q.

Hi, I had quite a lot of orthodontic work done during my early teens and by 16 I had a perfect set of teeth but stupidly stopped wearing my retainers. I’m 19 now and have notices my teeth are going into a square shape at the bottom, and my top two front teeth are crossing slightly. I’m really upset! My overbite has also worsened slightly, but maybe thats just from the square shape of my bottom teeth? Would invisalign me good for me?

Thanks!

I suffer from overbite from chewing my dummy as a child can invisalign help sort my goofy teeth?

September 6th, 2011
Q.

hi, I was wondering whether invisalign would be a valid choice of brace for overbite sufferers. This came about as a child as I chewed on a dummy to much and it has now left me with overbitten , with goofy teeth. I would really like to get these sorted out as soon as possible and really like the idea of invisalign as they are just so unnoticeable and wouldn’t impede on my daily life but could potentially improve it afterwards.

Any help you can give would be great thanks for your time.
