I eat a lot snacks during the day so would it still be worthwhile me getting Invisalign?

December 9th, 2010
Q.
I eat a lot of snacks and drink hot tea/ coffee throughout the day which means if I got invisalign aligners I would be taking them off a lot, is it still worth going through the treatment?,

Would I be able to discontinue my Invisalign treatment as the aligners are straining my lips?

December 8th, 2010
Q.
Having recently started my invisalign treatment I have begun to experience complications. I have an open bite which has added strain on my lips and chin because of the extra thickness of the aligners over my teeth. As a consequence I am seriously considering stopping the treatment. In your opinion is it at all possible to discontinue treatment without having to pay the remaining balance for the treatment?,

My dentist has suggested doing orthodontic treatment because I have short tooth roots. Is this ideal?

December 7th, 2010
Q.
I am scheduled to start invisalign treatment next month. I have been told I have very short tooth roots and as a consequence my orthodontist has suggested doing all of the orthodontic treatment as quickly as possible (less than six months) to prevent more resorption. I am unsure however as surely moving teeth quickly would be worse. (I am assuming that greater force would be applied to my teeth to accomplish the same amount of work in less time.) Is my orthodontist correct, or will this cause more resorption than doing it over a longer period of time?,

If I start Invisalign with one dentist will I be able to transfer my treatment to another dentist?

December 7th, 2010
Q.
If I start my retainers with one dentist and then have to move to another city for work is it possible to have all my intonation and retainers transfered to another practice? Can they just give me my info and retainers or would invisalign send them on? How much would you expect to pay on top of the original price?,

Tooth discomfort following Invisalign has been found to be down to root resorption. Will I lose my tooth?

December 6th, 2010
Q.
I have completed two years of invisalign treatment and have recently began to feel discomfort in my front upper tooth. Closer inspection and an x ray has revealed that I have root loss leaving a jagged edge, the nerve is alive. However my invisalign orthodontist can not tell me anything about root resorption with any clarity. What would you advise? Will I lose my tooth?,
